Helsinki, Finland (February 9, 2024)--TrillerTV announced today it will present SLAM! Wrestling Finland's SUPERSLAM! as part of the TrillerTV+ subscription from Black Box 360 in Helsinki on Saturday. The event starts at 7PM local / 12 Noon ET and features Finnish legends, a WWE NEXT star and a once-in-a-lifetime 80's rock & pro wrestling flashback.

The event will be headlined by the most renowned name in the industry out of the Nordics of Europe and pioneer of Finnish professional wrestling, "The Rebel" StarBuck, who puts his 30-year in-ring career on the line at the age of 50 against the SLAM! Championship title, held by former WWE NXT UK superstar, Sam Gradwell. This match has been sanctioned by and will be contested under the auspices of the grand commissioner of European professional wrestling, former World of Sport star and 7-time world champion, "No. 1" Marty Jones of England.
Also, the UK's "Golden Amazon" Heidi Katrina goes up against Finnish-German "Queen of Sisu" Lexa Valo in the finals of the SLAM! Women's Championship title tournament to crown the very first ladies' champion domestically in the 20+ year history of Finnish pro wrestling.
The event also features a Finnish Veterans Challenge match with Johnny McMetal vs. "Metal Warrior" Stark Adder; the Best 2-out-of-3 Falls match with TT Suosalo vs. Artur Arder; a Tag Team match with Kosmo the Kid-friendly Clown & Dr. Sadism vs. Nick Lukkonen & Nano Lopez; and the Triple Threat match with "Ikonet" Eirk Isaksen v.s Eemi Helén vs. "Back Breaker" Dylan Broda.
In a unique offering as part of SUPERSLAM!, the classic Badstreet USA pro wrestling-genre hit song from the ‘80s and accompanying music video by the founder of the The Fabulous Freebirds, Michael "P.S." Hayes, will now see a complete overhaul and remake both musically and audiovisually. Finland's leading southern rock band, Crossfyre, fronted by StarBuck himself, has re-recorded the classic song and remade the video in its entirety. This new version of Badstreet USA will be shown as part of the SUPERSLAM! streaming broadcast on TrillerTV and has been given the blessing of original songwriter and publisher Jimmy Papa of Grand Theft Records.
