Daniel Kolasiński is a Polish professional mixed martial artist and former competitive kickboxer. Known by the nickname “Kolas” or stylized “Kolas,” he fights out of Warsaw, Poland and is affiliated with Nemesis Pro Team. He stands around 184 cm (6 ft 0 in) with a reported 186 cm reach and has competed mainly between lightweight and welterweight.
Kolasiński comes from a strong striking background, particularly kickboxing and Muay Thai, which remains the foundation of his MMA style.
Before concentrating on MMA, Kolasiński built extensive experience in kickboxing. Records show him competing from his late teens, including victories on Poland's DSF Kickboxing Challenge circuit. He defeated Marcin Marciszewski by unanimous decision in 2015 and later beat Lithuania's Deividas Jemeljanovas by unanimous decision in a professional bout in January 2019.
Kolasiński transitioned into professional MMA and gradually established himself on the European regional circuit, fighting primarily as a lightweight while occasionally competing at higher weights.
His career has taken him through promotions including Fight Empire MMA, Cage Warriors, ARES Fighting Championship and KSW.
One of his early notable wins came against Mohamed Ghalab at Fight Empire MMA 2 in October 2022, where Kolasiński won by first-round TKO/retirement.
Kolasiński received a significant step up in competition when he fought James Power at Cage Warriors 172 in Newcastle in May 2024. Power defeated him by TKO just ten seconds into the second round.
Kolas subsequently rebuilt his momentum and entered ARES Fighting Championship, one of France's prominent MMA organizations.
At ARES 32 on 20 June 2025, he faced Thomas Glot and produced an emphatic first-round knockout at 1:02, improving his professional record to 6–2 at the time.
Kolasiński subsequently joined Poland's major MMA promotion, KSW. He faced Czech fighter Steven Krt at KSW 118 on 16 May 2026, competing at welterweight.
Daniel “Kolas” Kolasiński is a Polish kickboxer-turned-MMA fighter whose career has been built around aggressive striking and finishing ability. His kickboxing background gave him considerable stand-up experience before MMA, and that has translated into a professional record featuring four knockout/TKO victories among six wins.
By September 2026, Kolas had progressed from Poland's regional scene into Cage Warriors, ARES and KSW, facing increasingly strong European competition. His upcoming fight with former GLORY champion Tyjani Beztati represents another major opportunity — and a fascinating clash between two fighters whose paths from high-level kickboxing into MMA have developed very differently.
