Ibrahim Sadiq, born 7 May 2000 in Accra, Ghana is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a winger for AZ Alkmaar in the Dutch Eredivisie. Known for his pace, dribbling, and versatility across the attack, Sadiq has steadily progressed through European football after starting his career with the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana.
Club Career
Sadiq began his professional journey with FC Nordsjælland in Denmark, making his debut in July 2018. He then moved to BK Häcken in Sweden in February 2022, where he showcased his talent with a hat-trick in the Swedish Cup. In September 2023, he joined AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands, signing a five-year contract. At AZ, Sadiq has continued to develop, scoring his first goal for the club in a UEFA Europa Conference League match against Aston Villa in October 2023 and netting a brace in a league game against PEC Zwolle in September 2024.
International Career
Sadiq represented Ghana at youth levels, participating in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup and the 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations. As of now, he has not yet made his senior debut for the Ghana national team.
