Developed through youth systems at Hajduk Split and Sochaux, Perišić earned wider attention at Club Brugge, finishing as Belgian Pro League top scorer and being named Belgian Footballer of the Year in 2011
Progression in Germany
Moved to Borussia Dortmund in 2011, winning the Bundesliga title in 2011–12. Then joined VfL Wolfsburg in 2013 for around €8 million, where he helped secure the DFB-Pokal and DFL-Supercup.
