Jofra Chioke Archer is a Barbadian-born English international cricketer and fast bowler. A right-handed lower-order batter and right-arm fast bowler, he represents the England men’s national cricket team in all formats and is known for his raw pace, ability to swing the ball, and competitive strike bowling. Archer qualified to play for England through his British father and made his international debut in 2019. He has also been a key performer in global franchise leagues, most notably the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Rajasthan Royals.
Archer debuted for England in ODIs on 3 May 2019 against Ireland, making his T20I debut two days later versus Pakistan and his Test debut on 14 August 2019 against Australia. With Rajasthan Royals, he took notable wicket hauls, including 20 wickets in the 2020 IPL season.
