Romario Shepherd (born 26 November 1994 in Georgetown, Guyana) is a West Indies international cricketer and impactful bowling all-rounder. A right-handed lower-order batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler, he combines pace with powerful hitting late in innings. Shepherd’s athletic build and all-round skills have made him a flexible white-ball option for West Indies and various T20 franchises.
Shepherd earned his ODI debut for West Indies on 6 November 2019 against Afghanistan and followed it with his T20I debut on 18 January 2020 versus Ireland. Since then, he has been a regular feature in West Indies’ limited-overs squads, contributing with both ball and bat in T20Is and ODIs.
A standout performance came in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, where Shepherd delivered a hat-trick on the opening day against Scotland — the first of the tournament — highlighting his wicket-taking ability on the big stage.
