Bhardwaj Sai Sudharsan is an Indian international cricketer and left-handed top-order batter who also bowls right-arm leg-break occasionally. He represents India internationally, Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket, and Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Sudharsan is regarded as one of India’s emerging top-order batters across formats.
Sudharsan made his ODI debut on 17 December 2023 against South Africa, followed by his T20I debut in July 2024 against Zimbabwe, and his Test debut on 20 June 2025 against England.
In his early ODI career, he scored 127 runs in his first 3 matches with two half-centuries, showing a strong start at international level.
His Test debut in 2025 marked his entry into all formats for India, and he was considered a promising addition to India’s top order due to his technique and consistency.
Sudharsan made his T20 debut for Tamil Nadu in 2021 and his List A debut in 2021. He was signed by Gujarat Titans in the 2022 IPL Auction and made his IPL debut the same season.
He gained major attention during the IPL 2023 season, where he scored 362 runs and played a standout innings of 96 in the IPL Final.
In IPL 2024, he scored 527 runs and was the top run-scorer for Gujarat Titans. In IPL 2025, he won the Orange Cap after scoring 759 runs, becoming the youngest player to score 700+ runs in an IPL season and the youngest Orange Cap winner.
He also played county cricket for Surrey in England, gaining experience in English conditions.
