Born in Dublin in 2002, Parrott began his youth football journey with Belvedere before signing for Tottenham Hotspur in July 2017. He turned professional on 17, made his Spurs first-team debut in an International Champions Cup friendly against Juventus in July 2019, and followed that with official debuts in both the EFL Cup in September 2019 and the Premier League in December 2019.
Breakthrough in the Netherlands
In August 2023, Parrott moved to Excelsior Rotterdam on loan in Eredivisie, delivering a standout season with 17 goals in 32 appearances, including two hat-tricks during the relegation play-offs—despite the club going down
International Career
He earned his senior Ireland debut on 14 November 2019, providing an assist in a 3–1 friendly victory over New Zealand. His first competitive appearance came in a 0–0 Nations League draw with Bulgaria in November 2020. Parrott scored his first senior goals on 3 June 2021, netting twice in a 4–1 friendly win over Andorra. He followed up with a dramatic 97th-minute winner versus Lithuania in March 2022 and continued adding to his tally into 2024.
