Ubaid Shah is a Pakistani cricketer and right-arm fast-medium bowler known as one of the emerging pace prospects in Pakistan cricket. A right-handed lower-order batter, he comes from a cricketing family and is the younger brother of Pakistan international fast bowler Naseem Shah. Ubaid has represented Pakistan Under-19, Pakistan Shaheens, and domestic teams, while also playing in franchise T20 competitions such as the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Ubaid Shah rose to prominence through Pakistan’s youth cricket system and was a key member of the Pakistan Under-19 team that reached the semi-finals of the 2024 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. During the tournament, he took 18 wickets at an average under 14, earning selection in the ICC Team of the Tournament, which marked him as one of the standout bowlers of the competition.
