State of Origin is a matter of pride as the best from around Australia strive
to set their state as the winner at the end of the night. This year, for the first
time, four states would send a representative to win the newly established State
of Origin Shield. A title which can be defended by the winner anywhere at any time,
the only stipulation being the holder of the shield by next year must be present
at State of Origin to defend it.
Alex "AK47" Kingston has fought hard to earn the right to defend WA's state pride
against a new face to EPW representing NSW "Swagzilla" Sean Kustom, a crowd favourite
representing Victoria "Mr Juicy" Gino Gambino and a man who is no stranger to WA
or EPW, representing SA "Jag" Hartley Jackson.
Only one of these 4 men would stand tall at the end of the night claiming victory
and state pride.
