Al Ain Edge Closer to Glory as Top 3 Fight Tightens | Week 23, UAE Pro League 2025/26 Highlights

The Adnoc Pro League Gameweek 23 delivered another thrilling chapter in the season, with decisive results shaping both the title race and relegation battle. As the campaign heads into its final stretch, every point is crucial-and this week proved exactly why.

Sharjah 0-2 Al Wahda

Al Wahda kicked off a new era under manager Hassan Alabdooli in style with an impressive 2-0 away win over Sharjah. Omar Khrbin Canedo opened the scoring before Ghandipour sealed the result, with both goals brilliantly created by Dusan Tadic, who now has 11 assists this season. A huge result that keeps Al Wahda firmly in the race for 3rd place.

Kalba 1-2 Bani Yas

Bani Yas took a massive step towards safety with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Kalba. In an end-to-end encounter, Dekovic's decisive goal proved the difference as Bani Yas capitalised on their chances. The result all but secures their top-flight status, while Kalba remain under pressure heading into the final games.

Al Dhafra 0-1 Ajman

Ajman snatched a dramatic late win thanks to Waleed Azarou's 88th-minute strike. Al Dhafra, now winless in 12 matches, had a golden chance to equalise but missed a crucial opportunity that could define their season. The defeat leaves them in serious relegation trouble.

Al Nasr 3-2 Al Jazira

In one of the games of the week, Al Nasr edged a thrilling 3-2 victory over Al Jazira. Cheickna Doumbia continued his red-hot form, scoring for the fourth consecutive match-and once again delivering the winner. The result extends Al Nasr's unbeaten run to nine games, while Al Jazira suffer a setback in the race for 3rd.

Al Wasl 4-2 Dibba

Al Wasl boosted their hopes of finishing in the top three with an entertaining 4-2 win over Dibba. The match was packed with goals and attacking flair, but Dibba's defensive struggles proved costly once again. With time running out, their survival hopes are hanging by a thread.

Al Bataeh 0-2 Al Ain

League leaders Al Ain continued their dominant run with a comfortable 2-0 win away at Al Bataeh. Top scorer Kodjo Laba netted his 22nd goal of the season from the penalty spot before an own goal sealed the result. Still unbeaten, Al Ain move ever closer to securing the league title.
