Nestled in the Tyrolean Alps, Axamer Lizum welcomed 80 fearless athletes from over 15 countries for three days of fierce competition in skateboarding and luge. Riders pushed their limits down the 3.3-kilometer course, boasting a steep 21.8% gradient and three intense hairpin turns. The action was fast, technical, and unrelenting – a true test of nerve and skill.
Highlights include reigning luge champion Kolby Parks defending his title against a powerful lineup, including Malaysia's Abdil Mahdzan who stormed back after injury to claim victory. In the women's luge, France's Loreline Pastor triumphed after a dramatic race and penalty reordering. In the women's skate category, World Champion Selina Theiler once again demonstrated dominance, narrowly edging out Netherlands' Lisa Peters in a thrilling final.
