World Downhill Skateboarding Championship: El Salvador, Day 1 - QS Race and CT Qualifying
Get ready for a full day of downhill adrenaline as the Tamanique GP by SurfCity opens the final round of the WDSC season in El Salvador! Riders and fans descend on the 2.2 km "certified-gnarly" course above Tamanique, with steep gradients averaging 8.6% and reaching up to 25% — no straight stretch lasts more than a few seconds, and those twists and turns are what make this one of the most extreme tracks on the tour.
Then the real action begins with the QS Race for the Open Skate and Open Luge divisions, followed by warm-up rounds for the Championship Tour (CT) categories — including CT Open Skate, CT Open Luge, Women's divisions, and Inline. The day concludes with CT Qualifying (Q1, Q2, Q3), where the field will be narrowed and the top contenders will secure their positions for race day.
Whether you're a die-hard fan or a first-time spectator, Day 1 promises intense speed, raw downhill talent, and the drama of qualification where every split-second counts. The final showdown is shaping up — and this is where it all begins.
