Global Boxing Stars and Win Win Promotions have joined forces to co-promote 'Rising Stars' a new professional boxing series that features exciting young prospects, from across the African Continent and beyond, in action against each other.

The first edition, which takes place at the Ubungo Plaza in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania on Wednesday the 13th October 2021, is headlined by an African Boxing Union (ABU) Heavyweight Championship contest between unbeaten South African based Congolese prospect Ardi Ndembo and Tanzania's Tamimu Awadhi.

Co-main event features Tanzania's Salim Jengo versus Malawi's unbeaten Hannock Phiri for the ABU Super Lightweight Championship.

Supporting the two headlining Championship contests are some equally exciting fights, including an international Cruiserweight contest between America's Shawn Miller (18-6-1) and Tanzania's Shaban Jongo (8-2-2).

Kenyan unbeaten Middleweight Rayton Okwiri (6-0-1) will be in action against Uganda's John Serunjogi (8-1-0), whilst two of Tanzania's most exciting Super Lightweights, Hamisi Maya (10-3-1) and Joseph Sinkala (13-12-1), go toe-to-toe in an eight rounder and in another all Tanzanian clash, this time at Welterweight, Alex Kachelew (5-1-1) takes on the more experienced Abdala Luanja (14-8-2)
