A life long martial artist, John Wayne Parr started his journey as a Kickboxer, before moving to Thailand when he was 19 years old to pursue his dreams of becoming a Muay Thai champion.
After training and living like a local for years, John started to gain a reputation among the Thais, eventually becoming known as "the gunslinger" because of his potent punches. He would go on to fight in big stadiums like Lumpinee, even beating legendary Thai fighters like Orono and winning at the prestigious Kings cup.
